For Multi-Tiered Cakes
-
Your cake is assembled using food safe supports. Each tier is an individual cake on an individual board.
Use cake server to separate top tier. Then, slide your fingers under the board and lift straight up. Once the top tier is removed, you can remove the centre dowel.
Repeat this process to separate the remaining tiers.

Caring For Your Cake
-
Pick up and carry the cake box from the bottom only, never from the top or sides.
-
Use a sturdy cake stand at least 1 inch larger than the cake board
-
Keep the cake level at all times - during transport, refrigeration and display
-
Take cake out of fridge to display 1-2hrs before serving and serve at room temperature
-
Store cake in the box in the refrigerator. Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat when not in the fridge
-
Place cake in an air conditioned vehicle away from loose objects, ideally on front passenger floor or boot. Drive slowly, avoiding sudden turns and stops
-
Remove all cake decorations before cutting and serving
-
Store leftover cake in the fridge in an airtight container
